Terms of Service

Effective date: 9 September 2026 — these Terms formalize the disclaimer and should be read together with our Privacy Policy (Section 11 below).

1. Acceptance

By using mysecscan.com (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). The Service is operated by DZZD MARKET PULSE, a company registered under the laws of Bulgaria, VAT No. BG181450814 (“MySecScan”, “we”, “us”).

Creating an account requires explicitly confirming your agreement to these Terms at registration. By using the Service, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement under the laws applicable to you.

2. What the Service is

MySecScan provides free, informational website-security checkers and, on request, a full security scan. Public checkers perform passive, non-intrusive checks only.

3. Accounts

3.1. The free checkers described in Section 2 require no account.

3.2. An account is required only for checkers that need to act on your behalf over time, such as ongoing domain security monitoring.

3.3. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

3.4. You may claim and verify domains for monitoring, up to a limit set by us from time to time (currently five per account). Verification requires proving DNS control of the domain, the same authorization principle as Authorized use below.

3.5. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. A deleted account can be restored within 30 days by contacting us; after 30 days it is permanently erased and cannot be recovered.

4. Authorized use only

4.1. You may submit only domains that you own or are explicitly authorized to test. You must not use the Service to scan, probe, or attack systems you do not control.

4.2. Full or active scans that go beyond the passive, non-intrusive checks described in Section 2 will require verified domain ownership and, where applicable, your acceptance of separate scan-authorization terms presented to you before such a scan runs. Until such a feature is live and those terms are presented, no active or full scan is performed under this Section.

4.3. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to scan any target you submit, and for any consequences of submitting a target you were not authorized to test.

The Service helps you raise your security posture — it is not a substitute for a professional penetration test or audit, and does not guarantee that a site is secure or invulnerable. Results are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DZZD MARKET PULSE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on scan results.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold MySecScan harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your breach of Section 4 (Authorized use only) or Section 5 (Acceptable use); or (b) your submission of a target you were not authorized to test.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, its content, and the format of its reports are owned by DZZD MARKET PULSE. You may use your own scan reports freely.

10. Termination

10.1. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time, as described in Section 3.5.

10.2. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached Section 4 (Authorized use only) or Section 5 (Acceptable use), or where required by law.

10.3. Sections 6 through 9 and 13 survive termination of your access to the Service.

11. Relationship to the Privacy Policy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what personal data we collect and how we process it, and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bulgaria.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time; the date at the top of this document reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated through available channels.
